Chicago Snaps

Hi, Friends! I'm back from Chicago! The trip was so much fun! We ate some amazing food (one morning we had "fruishi" for breakfast--fruit sushi. Amazing!), did some shopping and walked through the city, numerous times.
Chicago made me a little home sick, the Chicago skyline reminded me that I live in a very small town in Florida... And I kind of miss being in the city. But it's either the beach or the city and for now, I'll take the beach :)
On our trip, we went on one of the architecture boat tours. This was the highlight of the trip for me! I got to see more of Chicago than I ever imagined. Chicago is an amazing, breathe-taking city.
Cheers!

  9. Hi Amanda! You left a comment on my blog about a month ago and I am so sorry I am just now responding! Things have been crazy with the deployment and impending move! I hope that you are liking Florida and getting all settled in. My boyfriend is stationed at NAS Whidbey and we live about an hour north of Seattle, the weather has definitely taken some getting used to! We've been here a little over a year and have really enjoyed getting to see the area, especially Portland! Where in Oregon are you from? What does your fiance do in the military? I am looking forward to reading your blog!
